Free-grafting of mandibular condyle fractures: clinical outcomes in 10 consecutive patients

Based on objective and subjective evaluation, free grafting of the fractured condylar segment in this patient population had a 70% success rate. All failures occurred within 9 months and required secondary costochondral reconstruction.
