Influence of arthroscopically observed fibrous adhesions before and after joint irrigation on clinical outcome in patients with chronic closed lock of the temporomandibular joint

In conclusion, our results indicate that the presence of FA or a postoperative worsening of FA (including postoperative new FA formation) seems not to affect the clinical outcome as regards MIO and VAS in patients with chronic closed lock of the TMJ.
