New functional aspects of CCN2 revealed by trans-omic approaches

A new functional aspect of CCN2 as a metabolic supporter in cartilage was recently revealed by a metabolo-transcriptomic approach. In addition, a systematic interactomic approach is being used to characterize the molecular network around CCN2 that supports the multiple functionality of CCN2 in bone/cartilage.
