Characteristics of jet droplet produced by bubble bursting on the free liquid surface

► We study the features of jet drops formed by bubble bursting on liquid surface. ► Critical bubble size above which no jet drop forms is correlated non-dimensionally. ► A universal correlation of critical bubble size is obtained. ► The number of this sort of jet drops is analyzed in various liquids. We improve a general expression for it.
