Measuring and modeling alcohol/salt systems

► We measured densities and osmotic coefficients of alcohol/salt solutions (A). ► Salts were found to have different effects on ethanol, methanol, and water. ► Applying ePC-SAFT we could model these systems (A) by two parameters per ion only. ► Based on this we applied ePC-SAFT to alcohol/water/salt solutions (B). ► We predicted activity coefficients and densities (B) without fitting parameters.
