Effects of sintering temperature on physicochemical properties and photocatalytic activity of titanate nanotubes modified with sulfuric acid

► The sulfated TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared by modifying the titanate nanotubes with H2SO4. ► The sintering temperature had a great influence on physicochemical properties and photocatalytic activity. ► The efficient sulfated TiO2 exhibited much higher activity and better stability than the commercial TiO2-P25.
