Extraction of decision alternatives in construction management projects: Application and adaptation of NSGA-II and MOPSO

► In this paper, two different construction projects considering combinations of two or three objectives: time, cost and quality have been solved. ► These projects have discrete structures which have been optimized using MOPSO and NSGA-II that search the decision space in a continuous manner. ► To apply and adapt MOPSO and NSGA-II in discrete domain, some procedures have been suggested. ► Results show advantages of used procedures in reporting the optimal Pareto for the optimization problems.
