Compressed domain speech enhancement method based on ITU-T G.722.2

► A speech enhancement method in compressed domain is proposed based on ITU-T G.722.2. ► The effect of noise on the parameters of CELP codec is analyzed. ► The proposed method is compatible with DTX mode and frame erasure condition. ► Heavier noise reduction and better speech quality are achieved with lower complexity.
