One-pot photochemical synthesis of ultrathin Au nanocrystals on co-reduced graphene oxide and its application

► Ultrathin gold nanocrystals were photo-synthesized on graphene nanosheets. ► Oxygen groups on graphene oxide were effectively removed by photo irradiation. ► The nanohybrids displayed excellent catalysis toward methanol oxidation.
