Facile synthesis of highly dispersed palladium/polypyrrole nanocapsules for catalytic reduction of p-nitrophenol

► Pd/PPy composite nanocapsules have been prepared by a redox polymerization method. ► The capsules exhibit a good catalytic activity for the reduction of p-nitrophenol. ► The capsules show a good stability against poisoning in the catalytic reaction.
