Thermoresponsive gelling behavior of concentrated alumina suspensions containing poly(acrylic acid) and PEO-PPO-PEO copolymer

► F127 copolymer was used as thermoresponsive gelling agent to PAA-alumina suspension. ► Copolymer species had a negligible influence on adsorption state of PAA on alumina. ► Gelling behavior of alumina suspensions was influenced by PAA concentration. ► Excellent gelling of alumina suspensions was observed at suitable PAA concentrations. ► Present thermoresponsive gels were applied to a direct colloidal printing method.
