Structural characterization of nanoparticles from thermoresponsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-DNA conjugate

► Micellization of PNIPAAm-g-DNA and its particle aggregation were examined. ► The nanoparticle consists of PNIPAAm core surrounded by hydrophilic DNA strands. ► The core size decreased with DNA fraction, while the shell thickness little changed. ► The nanoparticles with dsDNA overlap each other while the shells interpenetrating.
