Investigation of interfacial and structural properties of CTAB at the oil/water interface using dissipative particle dynamics simulations

► DPD is used to study the interfacial properties of CTAB/oil/water systems. ► CTAB is more upright and the interface thickens with CTAB and oil/water ratio. ► The area compressibility modulus decreases with the oil/water ratio. ► 〈h2〉1/2 and S show a weak dependence on oil/water ratio but an increase with CTAB.
