Polyvinylidene fluoride photocatalytic films embedded by porous ZrxSi1−xO2 shell/void/TiO2 core particles

The porous ZrxSi1−xO2 shell/void/TiO2 core particles (Zr-SVTs) were embedded into PVDF to prepare Zr-SVTP films. Channels of porous Zr-SVTs and Zr-SVTP films can enhance the mass and light transfer, ensuring better photocatalytic performance of Zr-SVTP films. Thereby, based on high efficient mass transfer, Zr-SVTP films with higher photocatalytic activity are desirable in application for water cleaning.99
