Simplified purification of soluble histidine-tagged green fluorescent protein from cocoon of transgenic silkworm in metal affinity hydroxyapatite chromatography

▶ We developed the Zn-hydroxyapatite for immobilized metal affinity chromatography. ▶ The Zn-hydroxyapatite could capture histidine-tagged protein selectively. ▶ The soluble protein extracted from cocoon was purified using the Zn-hydroxyapatite.
