Rectification extraction of Chinese herbs' volatile oils and comparison with conventional steam distillation

▶ Use rectification technique (RE) to isolate volatile oils from herbs. ▶ Compared with the steam distillation (SD), RE increases oil yields. ▶ RE is more suitable for extracting water-soluble volatile oils with low-content. ▶ RE keeps similar quality features of volatile oils as those produced by SD.
