A rapid and label-free dual detection of Hg (II) and cysteine with the use of fluorescence switching of graphene quantum dots

A simple and rapid method for analysis of mercury (II) ions (Hg2+) and cysteine (Cys) has been developed with the use of graphene quantum dots (GQDs). Hg2+ and Cys could be detected together with the same sensor without any pre-treatment.
