Intrusive mental imagery in patients with persecutory delusions

► We examine intrusive mental images in individuals with persecutory delusions. ► 70% of the sample reported recurrent intrusive images related to persecutory beliefs. ► More anxiety provoking intrusive images were associated with more distressing delusions.
