Randomised controlled trial of a guided self-help treatment on the Internet for binge eating disorder

► This study evaluated an Internet self-help programme for binge eating disorder. ► Participants used the Internet programme with the e-mail guidance of a psychologist. ► Overall eating disorder psychopathology decreased in comparison with a waiting list. ► Improvements were maintained at six-month follow-up.
