Schizotypy, self-referential thinking and the Barnum effect

►A referential thinking style predicted the Barnum Effect in all of four forms. ►The relationship with positive schizotypy was replicated across all Barnum effect measures. ►Both referential thinking and positive schizotypy made independently significant contributions to the Barnum effect.
