Automatic imitation and spatial compatibility in a key-pressing task

► We examine whether spatial compatibility effects can pass for automatic imitation. ► Using actions presented as from a mirror view, only spatial effects are found. ► Using rotated actions, we obtain clear effects of automatic imitation.
