Fractions of permutations. An application to Sudoku

► We study orthogonal fractional factorial design (OFFD) generation. ► We exploit the a priori knowledge of the structure of OFFDs to simplify their generation. ► We work both on 4×4 and 9×9 Sudoku puzzles. ► We describe an algorithm to randomly generate solutions.
