Novel D-A-π-A carbazole dyes containing benzothiadiazole chromophores for dye-sensitized solar cells

New D-A-π-A carbazole dyes containing benzothiadiazole chromophores was designed and synthesized for the application of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Their light-harvesting capabilities and photovoltaic performance were investigated systematically.
