High-performance organic thin film transistors based on inkjet-printed polymer/TIPS pentacene blends

► We synthesize triarylamine-based polymers with various polarities. ► The polymer/TIPS pentacene blends are inkjet-printed to fabricate top-contact OTFTs. ► The observed TFT performance values are related to the phase separation behavior. ► We apply the Flory-Huggins theory to the polymer-blend organic semiconductor system. ► The polarity difference in the polymer structure induces the different segregation strength.
