Electric-field controlled light-emissive characteristics in nanoscale for polymer/fullerene organic solar cells

► Photoluminescence (PL) of P3HT/PCBM based OPVCs increased with increasing reverse bias. ► Variation of field-induced PL depended on the thickness of active layer. ► Increase of PL intensity by bias was related to exciton dissociation probability and de-trapped charges.
