New types of asymmetrical bromonium salts [RF(RF′)Br]Y where RF and/or RF′ represent perfluorinated aryl, alkenyl, and alkynyl groups

Systematic investigations of the fluorine substitution in ArBrF2 by organyl groups R′ using R′SiF3 and R′BF2 reagents. Preparative access to asymmetrical bromonium salts [Ar(R′)Br]Y (Ar = C6F5, 4-CF3C6H4, R′ = C6H5, 4-FC6H4, 4-CF3C6H4, C3F7C≡C, CF3C≡C, trans-CF3CFCF). No bromonium salts were obtained in case of R′ = C6F13 and C6F13C2H4.
