Thermal stability and bond dissociation energy of fluorinated polymers: A critical evaluation

Intrinsic bond dissociation energies of selected fluorinated polymers are critically evaluated. A simple model-compound approach was adopted. For partially fluorinated polymers the weight loss due to HF and HCl elimination during heating experiments was predicted successfully. .
