Synthesis, characterization and structure of new diazoketiminato chelates of palladium(II): Potential catalyst for C-C coupling reactions

The reactions of the amino alkyl azobenzene ligand with Na2PdCl4 afforded new diazoketiminato complexes of palladium. The X-ray structure of one of the complexes has been determined. The newly synthesized palladium(II) molecular complex shows catalytic activity toward Suzuki-cross-coupling and Heck reactions.
