Synthesis and structural characterization of 1-(3-aminopropyl)silatrane and some new derivatives

► 1-(3-Aminopropyl)silatrane structure in carbamate form or having free amine groups. ► 1-(3-Salicyliminopropyl)silatrane was prepared and studied by X-ray crystallography. ► A new structure, 1-chlorocobaltrane, was unexpectedly obtained.
