Structural diversity in the d10 metal complexes containing N,N′-di(3-pyridyl)oxamide

► We report eight d10 metal complexes containing N,N′-di(3-pyridyl)oxamide. ► We examine the roles of anion in the structural types. ► The chloride and bromide anions play similar roles in the crystal structures, while the iodide anion is distinct.
