Structural characterization and catalytic properties of bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidinium) dichromate

► The novel structure of bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidinium) dichromate is reported. ► The salt decomposes into Cr2O3 above 171 °C. ► Structure characterized with FTIR, TGA-MS, DSC, and XRD. ► NH3-SCR activity is measured.
