Crystal structure, magnetic properties and spectroscopic characterization of a rare syn-anti acetato-bridged zig-zag chain copper(II) complex

A novel linear-chain copper(II) compound containing syn-anti acetato bridges is presented. The compound exhibits a very weak ferromagnetic interaction between the Cu(II) ions with a J value of 0.21 cm−1.
