Nanocomposite films dispersed with silica nanoparticles extracted from earthworm humus

► We have prepared Silica nanoparticles from earthworm humus by a cost effective method. ► PVA-PVP blends have been used as matrix with orthophosphoric acid as a source of ions. ► Electrical conductivity of the order of 10− 4 S/cm has been obtained at room temperature.
