Preparation and characterization of monolithic methylsilicone xerogels doped with liquid-phase synthesized TiO2

► TiO2-doped methylsilicone xerogel monoliths were prepared by a facile process. ► TiO2 prepared by liquid phase method was well dispersed in methylsilicone matrix. ► The thermal stability of TiO2-doped methylsilicone monoliths was enhanced.
