Electronic states of SnO-ZnO-P2O5 glasses and photoluminescence properties

► Mössbauer spectra showed Sn-O covalency increased as the Sn concentration increased. ► Glass transition temperature decreased with the increase of Sn concentrations. ► Refractive index increased as the Sn concentration increased. ► Photoluminescence spectra peaked at 2.0-3.0 eV depended on the glass compositions.
