A note on the von Neumann-Mullins equation

Recently, it has been argued that the von Neumann-Mullins equation is only approximately correct. In the present note the contributions to the growth rate have been summarized and the equation is shown to be exactly correct. The equation has been solved numerically for some centro-symmetrical grains.
