Low cycle fatigue behavior of Zn-22mass%Al alloy exhibiting high-strain-rate superplasticity at room temperature
چکیده انگلیسی
Low cycle fatigue tests on rolled and extruded superplastic Zn-22mass%Al alloy under large plastic strain were carried out at room temperature, with a view to its application as a seismic damping material. Crack initiation and propagation were strongly affected by the microstructure. The extruded alloy exhibited longer fatigue life, extensive enough for use in seismic damping materials.
