Single-particle nanomagnetism

Nanomagnetic materials are made of particles with sizes going from a few nanometers to a few hundred nanometers. In order to understand the magnetic properties of such materials it is important to perform single-particle studies. This paper gives a short review of such studies starting ten years ago when single-particle measurements became possible.
