Sulfurization of electrodeposited CuInSe2-based solar cells

▶ CuInSe2 can be electrodeposited on TCO coated with TiO2 and TiO2/In2S3 layers. ▶ After annealing in sulfur the replacement of Se by S in the structure is evident. ▶ Combining the sulfurization with KCN etching adjusts the stoichiometry. ▶ Incorporating In2S3 as buffer layer the solar cell efficiency improves 10 times.
