Reduction in surface recombination through hydrogen and 1-heptene passivated silicon nanocrystals film on silicon solar cells

► Si-H and Si-1-heptene are coated on Si solar cell. ► These NCs coated at room temperature provides passivation of Si surface. ► Excitonic excitations in NCs do not play any role in improving cell efficiency.
