A dimensionless model for the outlet temperature of a nonisothermal flat plate solar collector for air heating

► A dimensionless numerical model for flat plate solar collectors for air heating is proposed. ► The numerical model is solved for a wide range of operation conditions. ► An equation for the outlet temperature as a function of the operation conditions is proposed. ► This equation show good agreement with experimental data reported by other authors.
