Ultrasonic/surfactant assisted of CdS nano hollow sphere synthesis and characterization

► CdS hollow nanospheres with diameters of 40-150 nm were synthesized. ► Nanoparticles were characterized by UV/Vis and photoluminescence. ► Nanospheres are composed of smaller nanocrystals with the average size of 6.8 nm. ► The band gap energy of the CdS nanoparticles is higher than its bulk value.
