Mechanical experiments on the superplastic material ALNOVI-1, including leak information

▶ Mechanical testing of superplastic materials, in particular ALNOVI-1. ▶ Uniaxial tests to show the one-dimensional stress-strain behaviour and the high amount of strain rate sensitivity. ▶ Void volume fractions have been observed. ▶ Free bulge experiments to show the dependence on the backpressure during the forming stage. ▶ Measuring leak tightness of superplastically formed sheets. ▶ Experiments are used in order to develop a constitutive model in a later stage.
