Enhanced very high cycle fatigue performance of extruded Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr magnesium alloy
چکیده انگلیسی
▶ Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr (GW123k) alloy contains a large amount of precipitated particles and possesses a relatively weak texture. ▶ GW123k alloy has much relieved tension-compression yield asymmetry and enhanced fatigue failure resistance compared to conventional wrought Mg alloys. ▶ The suppression of deformation twins and the activation of basal slips in GW123k alloy alleviate the severe strain localization during cyclic loading and benefit the material's fatigue performance.
