Effect of homogenization on microstructures and mechanical properties of hot compressed Mg-9Al-1Zn alloy

▶ Hot compressions were carried out using as-cast, 24 and 100 h homogenized AZ91 specimens. ▶ Effect of homogenization time on the microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated. ▶ Developments of solute atoms distribution, DRXed grain, precipitates and texture were focused.
