Characterization of AZ91/alumina nanocomposite produced by FSP

▶ Al2O3 particles can be used as reinforcement and grain refinement. ▶ FSPed AZ91 have recrystallized grain structure and the dissolution of β-phase. ▶ Wear resistance of FSPed AZ91/alumina is about 3 times of the base. ▶ Micro hardness of FSPed AZ91/alumina is about 1.7 times of the base. ▶ Grain size can be refined about 20 times of the base.
