Ferromagnetic nature of (Ga, Cr)As epilayers revealed by magnetic circular dichroism

► Magnetic circular dichroism of (Ga1−x, Crx)As shows clear ferromagnetic hysteresis. ► A Curie temperature of 12 K is determined by means of the Arrott plot procedure. ► (Ga, Cr)As epilayers do not behave as a paramagnetism or a superparamagnetism.
