Angular dependences of the switching field and coercivity for magnetic multilayer films with strain caused by lattice mismatch

► We present analytical expressions for the ADEB with strain. ► We show the different roles of the strain and the unidirectional anisotropy. ► Peak staggering of the two branches of the coercivity results in a jump phenomenon. ► GMMs on AFM substrates show interesting effects.
