Low-temperature synthesis of red-emitting nanostructured La2O2S2:Eu3+ phosphor

► We synthesized red-emitting phosphor at relatively lower temperature using combustion synthesis method. ► We found small impurities of La2O2S in the sample. ► We carried out optical and structural characterization of nanostructured phosphor materials and analysis.
