Phase evolution and properties of Ni50Co23Fe2Ga25 Heusler alloy undercooled by electromagnetic levitation

► Solidification microstructure of Ni50Co23Fe2Ga25 Heusler alloy undercooled using electromagnetic levitation technique has been studied. ► Deeply undercooled samples showed a phase pure microstructure containing only martensite. ► Microstructures and the properties correlate with undercooling.
